Caring, Gentle, Lovely!
Linda provided the music for the unexpected memorial for my youngest brother. Her kindness in helping me to select just the right music, her compassion regarding the difficult circumstances of his passing, and her willingness to continue the service over the time (because key family arrived late to the service) was just such an incredible gift. She played Beethoven, Mozart, and a favorite hymn of an ancestor to bring beauty and life to an otherwise very difficult service. Her playing was lovely, and everyone remarked on how much "beauty" it brought to the service. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Linda, for being the gracious and lovely musician and human that you are! I would not hesitate to engage Linda's services in any setting, as her presence is extraordinary.

Full Catholic Mass
Linda did a fantastic job for our wedding ceremony! I had some music selections already picked out, and she played them all beautifully. For the parts of the ceremony that I hadn't made choices yet, she suggested pieces that fit well. We had a full Catholic mass, and she knew exactly when to play. We threw a few last minute changes in too, and she never batted an eye. She arrived right on time. and played background music appropriate to the setting prior to the ceremony. No complaints! Accompanist for an event
Thank you very much for being flexible with the addition of new pieces and for coming in to rehearse with the students. Having a accompanist for this event made it so much more valuable and enjoyable!
Accommodated my requests
Linda was a joy to work with! I hired her for my beloved uncle's funeral mass and the reception following the service. She was kind and supportive during a very emotional time for me. My uncle was a Broadway actor, director and stage manager his entire life. so we wanted Broadway show tunes played at the reception. Linda accommodated all of my music requests and played them beautifully. I recommend her highly and will use Linda again for future events. Thank you Linda!
A magical experience
Linda Smith is not only an extremely talented pianist, she is wonderfully professional and accommodating. She went above and beyond in accompanying my daughter who sang at our wedding and was flexible with her schedule. We would highly recommend Linda for any occasion. She worked closely with us to help us set the right tone and pacing for our wedding ceremony and dinner. She offered her own musical insight and suggestions which really supported the feel of the day. She definitely was a part of making our wedding a truly magical experience.
A special gift
There are times when you hire someone, and there are times when you hire someone special...with a special gift-and for us, it was Linda Smith. Our wedding vow renewal ceremony included collaboration with our cantor that turned the mass into a concerto...and the old smokey classics provided at the reception were reminiscent of the war years and the rat pack-exactly what we asked for...played to perfection! Linda was obliging, communicative, arrived early, open to an accompanying cantor...the entire evening was magical with her at the piano. Our vow renewal was one of our most treasured evenings ever...much to her credit for setting the stage.
Timely response, great to work with!
Timely response in all communications arrived on time and prepared, dressed appropriately for the event, played beautifully, procured an additional musician at my request for the evening. Great to work with and all of the guests commented on how the professonal musical performance added to the evening!

A special touch
Linda, was incredible. I reached out for my wedding with less than a week notice, and Linda was quick to respond, professional, and easy to communicate. She and the violinist arrived on time to set up. There were changes made on the day of the wedding by my family, from what Linda and I had agreed on prior, and she was so flexible and kind. Thank you Linda for providing a special touch to Felipe and my wedding.

We had Linda perform at our Christmas event in Sherwood and she was amazing! Awesome to work with and a great performer. She really added some holiday spirit at our event and it was so fun to listen to her talent!
Gift for Mother’s Day
I wanted to give my Mom an extra special gift for Mother's Day...one that would take her back and really touch her soul. I had the beautiful Linda surprise my Mom for a special song for Mother's Day. She played Unchained Melody for her and I sent it to be delivered to her first thing that morning. My Mom's response was so wonderful! She told me how it gave her goodsebumps and brought tears to her eyes that I would think of this as a gift for her. When we gathered as a family later that day, my Mom shared the song with our whole family. She was deeply moved by the song Linda played. Worth every penny! Thank you Linda!

Linda played piano so beautifully at my micro wedding recently. She had a wide repertoire of songs to choose from and is even able to learn new songs by request for the event. Linda was professional, friendly, and patient with us in all communication and so sweet and warm in person as well. Her music made our micro wedding feel grand. After growing up hearing classical music at home, Linda's piano playing brought me comfort on what can be a stressful day. Our guests loved it as well. Lovely, song-filled memorial service.
Linda is marvelous! She is such a talented musician and caring human being. She helped our family put together a lovely, song-filled memorial service for our late mother. She accompanied us on the piano, and helped us to sing the various hymns and other songs that were special to our mother and that we had selected. She made helpful and gentle suggestions for the memorial event in a way that enhanced our celebration of our mother’s life. Everyone in our family and all our friends were delighted by her work. The music was lovely and amazing.
Linda was instrumental in helping us carry out a lovely, albeit small church wedding during this pandemic. Prior to enforced scale back, Linda was very welcoming and played all sorts of piano pieces as we sat in her living room, listened, brainstormed and decided upon a few choices. In addition, she arranged for a violinist as well. Despite all the changes that occurred following this first encounter, Linda remained in touch and completely engaged in the wedding ceremony despite a change of dates and times. But, most of all, the music was lovely and amazing. With our small gathering (15 people or so), her music filled the empty church and created a fabulous ambience. I would highly recommend Linda for her talent, accommodation, and honest interest in your event.
Truly amazing to work with!
Linda was truly amazing to work with! As a bride whose original wedding was cancelled due to Covid-19, it meant so much to me to work with someone so flexible and kind. With all of the stress of trying to change wedding dates and then creating a very small wedding, it was nice to have someone who was easy to work with during all of the changes. Apart from her amazing flexibility, the music she played was absolutely beautiful. Since the wedding was in a church and small, the music played an even more important part in making the ceremony as special as it was. I highly recommend using Linda for live music at your wedding. You won’t regret it!

Linda’s performance at the Celebration of Life for my husband was just as I hoped. She played the variety of songs we requested which included classical, show tunes, big band and background. An accomplished and skilled pianist, Linda was also kind and gentle. My dream was to walk down the aisle to ‘At Last’ by Etta James and Linda played it perfectly! I got goosebumps! She prayed with us in the bridal room, an unexpected but welcome addition to the morning. She replied promptly to questions/suggestions for the songs. She has an elegant presence, very classy. I would highly recommend her for any event!

We held an open house at our office to celebrate 20 years in business. We were so fortunate to find Linda to provide the lovely background music. Linda brought her own keyboard and played during the entire open house. Several guests, who know music, commented on her heartfelt playing.
